Research Interests

Generally, I am interested in understanding how bacteria have evolved clever mechanisms to overcome any environmental obstacles they face such as nutrient limitation inside the host. My research includes experimental characterization of poorly annotated proteins whose functions have been predicted to be beneficial for pathogenesis inside the mammalian host niche.
