Research Interests

 To understand the role that the transcription terminator, Rho, plays in the occurrence of antibiotic resistance in Escherichia coli.

Research History

   October 2016 to Present:

        Freddolino Lab, Biological Chemistry Department, University of Michigan. 

        Research focus: Investigate Rho’s contribution to antibiotic resistance in E. coli cells.

    May 2016 to August 2016

        Duck Creek Watershed Assembly, Summer Internship

        Research focus: Monitored water quality in Duck Creek to ensure erosion was not significantly impacting the watershed

    October 2015 to April 2016

          Independent Research Project, Muskegon Community College

          Research focus: Analyze the microbial community and the gases produced in anaerobic digest
